1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) define the terms of payment, invoicing, and financial management related to the use of the VisitItForMe platform.
2. Acceptance of the GTC
Using the platform implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC by all users.
3. Pricing and fees
- The Client proposes a free amount for each request.
- A 10% service fee charged by VisitItForMe is added to this amount.
- Example: for a €20 request, the Client pays €22 (€20 + €2 in fees).
- On the proposed amount (excluding fees), VisitItForMe withholds 20% and transfers 80% to the Sherlock.
4. Payment terms
- Payments are made via our payment service provider (Stripe).
- The amount is held in escrow until the visit is confirmed.
- Once the visit is marked as "completed", the Sherlock's share is released within 3 to 5 business days.
5. Cancellations and refunds
The rules for cancellations and refunds are specified in our Cancellation Policy.
6. Invoicing
- An invoice is automatically generated for each payment by the Client.
- VisitItForMe can provide, upon request, a summary statement for Sherlock.
7. User obligations
- Clients agree to provide truthful information for their requests.
- Sherlock agree to respect the time, address, and instructions of the visit.
8. Disputes and resolution
In case of a dispute:
- The Client can open a dispute from their account area.
- The VisitItForMe team will analyze messages in the integrated chat and make a decision.
- The decision may include a partial refund, a full refund, or a rejection of the dispute.
9. Governing law
These GTC are subject to French law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction of VisitItForMe’s registered office.
